My view:
Funny, now that western allies need Russia to crush ISIL, that Putin is no longer a pariah.
The media had it wrong from the beginning. Russia is not a threat to democracy, but our politicians with their police state view of citizens liberties are certainly a big problem.
We need to cooperate to defeat militant Islam. We will also need to wake up and fight against the gradual police state mentality that is taking over the US, Canada, and much of Europe.
