It is unimaginable, that a secular country like Turkey would shoot down a Russian jet that had spent less than 10 seconds in its airspace without direction from NATO. To add murder to injury, the Turks shot and killed the pilot as he descended in a parachute.
Strange that the US was making little if no progress against ISIS until Russia started their campaign. Now that Russia has embarrassed the US with its lack of military advances, a Russian plane has blown up in Sinai, and a military aircraft has been shot down. One wonders about the coincidence of the events. It seems that the military command in the United States is determined to provoke Russian into a escalated middle east conflict. For what purpose one asks?
Perhaps ISIS is doing the US a favor by perpetuating the "war on terror". After all, what better way to bring about a totalitarian state than to have a lingering, ever present threat to convince citizens to willingly give up their civil liberties in exchange for "protection" by the government. To this writer, it seems that the government has taken on mafia like tactics to "protect" us.
