IMF Says Don't Worry About Yen

When the Head of the IMF says "Don't Worry", I tend to do the opposite.

The abrupt drop in the Yen as the following chart illustrates, if a strong indicator that we may enter a currency crisis of competitive devaluations in a bid to retain export market share.

This is the type of interference with currency values that helped set up the beggar thy neighbor devaluations during the 1930s.

History seems to be on the cusp of repeating.
