The wife was quoted by the Daily Telegraph as saying she felt bereft: "We felt like criminals. From having a baby in my arms, suddenly there was an empty cot. I knew she wouldn't have been here for ever, but usually there is a build-up of several weeks. I was in tears." The children, a baby girl, a boy and an older girl, had begun calling the foster carers "mum" and "dad" after eight weeks with them.
The parents claim they were encouraging the children to use their native language and that they themselves were trying to learn it.My view:
This instance of the pathological state's intervention into the lives of everyday people is a prime example of how socialism, that political view that claims to care for people, is incredibly totalitarian.
In nanny-state Britain, the left has become so powerful over the years that they can take children away from what appear to be law abiding citizens simply because of their political affiliation.
The social worker soldiers are engaging in combat due to the gall of the UKIP members to dare say that multiculturalism is not in the nation's best interest.
The fact that the foster parents in question are caring for these children and taking the responsibility for their upbringing seems to not enter into the minds of the social worker drones.
The real issue here, is the lack of support the UKIP has shown toward the enshrinement of government powers over all aspects of citizens lives.
This is completely contrary to Labour supporters socialist way of thinking.
This is the real reason the children were snatched away from this couple.
They simply did not follow the accepted way of thinking that more government is good.
Shame, shame on the Rotherham borough councilors.
Let this example be a warning to us all.
