Will The X Class Solar Flare Trigger A Stock Market Collapse?

My view:

As long time readers know, there appears to be a distinct connection between significant solar flares, volcanic activity and earthquakes.

The last large solar flare in March 2011 trigger a 9.0 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Japan resulting in the devastating tsunami that tragically killed thousands of people and caused the worst nuclear incident in world history.

This forecast looks at an X class flare that could cause another very large earthquake with unknown effects on the planet.  Watch the "Ring of Fire" closely for activity in the next 10 days or so.

As a reminder for stock market participants, the Japanese tsunami resulted in a massive market sell off.

It is my view that investors would be wise to take appropriate precautions if currently invested in bullish funds.  Inverse funds could do well in the event of a market dislocation.

Please note that I do not wish this to come to pass, but simply pass on a suggestion for caution in a market that already seems fragile.
