Unemployment appears to be the number one concern to most Americans for good reason.
According to the St. Louis Fed's own numbers, the number of unemployed is greater by a substantial margin than even the 1982-82 recession.
We are mindful that the Fed's numbers only show U3, not the broader, and in my view, more accurate U6 figure. If we us the broader measure, the total unemployed and underemployed is likely in the range of 25 to 30 million Americans!
