Keep Your Eye On China

There is a detailed piece by Martin Hutchinson in the Asia Times that is worth reading.

To summarize briefly, it warns of an impending meltdown in the opaque Chinese economy brought on by a property bubble and hundreds of billions in bad debts. When this centrally governed economy will correct (crash?) is unknown. My guess is this autumn may prove to be unnerving to anyone heavily invested in stocks in general and in Chinese stocks in particular.

We need to remember that in Economic Winter the objective is not to make large amounts of money, but to keep the net worth we have accumulated.
