Citi is imploding. Shares hit $1.68 earlier today. Why do I get the feeling that the US Government is going to "save the day" by nationalizing money losing Citi (and perhaps BAC)? Funny thing is it was Geithner that started the rumor by denying that Treasury would consider such a move.
